Bio: Peter Kuzma serves as Arts Education Coordinator for Madison Metropolitan School District. A proud MMSD K-12 alumni, he earned his Art Education degree at UW-Madison, and his MS in Ed Leadership & Curriculum Design with Cardinal Stritch.

Before this role, Peter enjoyed 23 years in the visual arts classroom along with sundry administrative liaison roles, chairing a district mentor program, and a decade of facilitating hands-on learning as a director of a summer K-5 STEAM program. Earlier yet, he collaborated with his wife as co-owner and managing director of a dance and music school in Monona. His first Arts-teaching role was as the Theatre Director for Memorial High School, where he served for five years as he completed his teaching degree
and began his early classroom career.

Along with absorbing local arts events, Peter enjoys biking, reading, cooking, spending time in nature, and doing his best to restore and honor the spirit of the 99 year old home he shares with his wife, two sons, cats Mortimer and Molly, and a fluctuating number of backyard chickens.
