The Pop Up Pyramid of Light at Burrows Park on March 2, 2021, in conjunction with Sustain Dane’s “Winter is Alive” in Madison, Wisconsin. It was intense, and also magical, and we saw the sun set and an owl and a fox out there! This was the first, and there will be more. Each time I’ll feature a different configuration of sculptures and other artwork. When it’s warmer we can stay out longer!
My art has always depicted this intricacy and interconnection, as I love to personify nature and “naturify” persons in literal, visual ways. As I walk through life I’m carrying this within me, and it certainly informs my decisions about how I treat the world around me.
